We Are Open, But Call Before You Come
If you are sick with fever and cough and your symptoms are mild, stay home.  Most people with COVID-19 will recover without needing medical care.  Most people do not need a test, and leaving your home to get a test could expose you and your child to COVID-19.  The Center of Disease and Control (CDC) is currently not recommending testing everyone, but instead only testing people who are seriously ill, in the hospital, in high-risk settings like nursing homes, and healthcare workers and first responders.   If you feel your child does need medical care, call our office.  We are also still open for newborn visits, well visits that require vaccines, and other urgent medical problems

Telemedicine Now Available
We are now able to offer Virtual Visits!  This will allow you to speak with one of our doctors face to face from your home using your smart phone or tablet.   Please call the office and discuss with our staff whether your concerns or your child's symptoms are appropriate for this type of visit, and they can give you an appointment time

New Mom and Dad Classes
Our monthly new mom and dad classes are fun and informative for new parents!  Dr. Edwards will cover what will happen at the hospital after your baby is born, and answer questions about what life will be like during your first few weeks of life at home with your newborn.  It's a great way to meet our practice as well!  Our upcoming classes are limited to 10 couples per class, so call today to sign up.  Please note, attending a class is NOT required to become a patient here at The Pediatric Center with your newborn.  Our next upcoming classes are April 21, May 26, June 30, July 21, and August 25
